TripFit is operated by Alap Dev LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Contact: hello@tripfit.ai.
This policy describes how we handle information when you use tripfit.ai. Information is processed in the United States.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google provides. Authentication is handled by Clerk.
- Trip and proposal content: notes, emails, PDFs, links, client details, and other materials you upload or paste, plus drafts we generate from them.
- Payment information: billing is handled by Stripe. We receive subscription status and related billing records. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage information: pages you visit, actions in the product, device and browser data, and approximate location derived from IP address.
Your account (email and sign-in) is yours. Notes, emails, PDFs, and client details are materials you upload about your clients. We use those materials only to generate a proposal draft. If a traveler asks about their information, they should contact you, not us.
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, generate proposal drafts, take payment, and provide support. We also use usage data to understand how the site is used and to measure advertising, including Google Ads.
Who processes it
We use other companies to run TripFit. They process information on our behalf:
- Clerk, for accounts and sign-in
- Stripe, for payments and subscription management
- Convex, for application data
- Vercel, for hosting, Vercel Analytics, and Speed Insights
- Google, for Google Analytics and ads measurement
- Microsoft Clarity, for session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity may record visits to public proposal links as well as the rest of the site.
- OpenAI, reached through our AI gateway, to generate drafts from the materials you provide. TripFit does not train its own model on those materials.
We do not sell your information. We do share usage data with Google for analytics and ads measurement.
Public proposal links
If you publish a proposal, anyone with the link can view it. Treat the link as a key: do not put in the proposal anything a stranger should not see. Analytics and session-recording tools on this site may also load on that page.
How long we keep it
We keep account and trip data while your account is active. After you cancel, we may keep records needed for billing, security, or law.
Your choices
Email hello@tripfit.ai about your TripFit account. If one of your clients asks about their information, they should contact you. You can cancel a subscription in the billing portal.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page.
